As a volunteer you have a unique opportunity to network directly with C-level executives and recruiters from all over the country.  Networking is the best way to get your foot in the door with most companies, and volunteering is one of the easiest ways you could do that!  The NCSC career fair is so exclusive that only the participants with official NCSC badges  may attend - including volunteers.  There are also several networking events associated with the NCSC that volunteers will have access to.

Volunteers help the corporate partners set up their career fair booths, collect score cards from the judges, get the contestants in place for the competition, or help around the career fair (answering questions about the university and the NCSC).  Each volunteer is schedule in 3-to-4-hour time blocks, though you are not limited to working in only one time block.  There is also a golf tournament associated with the NCSC and volunteers are eligible to play as long as they are registered to work during another shift.

When you register to volunteer, please include a preferred day(s) and time(s) so that I can schedule you at an appropriate time.  We will need volunteers the week of the event (Feb. 25-Feb. 28).  For March 1, please choose your availability times from 9am until 11pm; on March 2, please choose your times from 6:15am until 11:30pm; on March 3, please choose your times from 6:15am until 7:30pm; and on March 4, please choose your times from 6:15am until 2:30pm.
