The Sales Student Advisory Board (SSAB) serves a bridge between the students and the Center for Professional Selling by helping shape the student experience and supporting the growth of the program.

Members are expected to deeply understand the culture, values, and vision of the department. The SSAB focuses on student engagement, providing feedback and input on initiatives within the program

Through leadership & advocacy, members help strengthen the CPS community and contribute growth of the program

Benefits of being a part of SSAB

The Sales Student Advisory Board provides students with an opportunity to become more involved in the Center for Professional Selling while learning the culture, operations, and vision of the program. The Advisory Board serves as a foundational leadership experience for students who want to grow within the program, contribute to the department, and learn what it means to professionally represent CPS before stepping into ambassador-level responsibilities. 
  • Gain leadership experience within the CPS community
  • Build closer relationships with faculty, staff, and fellow students
  • Provide input and ideas that help improve the student experience and department initiatives
  • Develop a deeper understanding of the culture, values, and operations of the program
  • Strengthen communication, teamwork, and professional development skills
  • Help encourage and connect newer students, especially freshmen, to the CPS community
  • Prepare for future leadership opportunities, including consideration for the Sales Ambassador Program
